What Synkease is

Synkease is a web-based appointment scheduling and care coordination tool. It allows families and care teams to share appointment schedules, add notes, and coordinate care logistics in one place.

Synkease is operated by Ariel Jamisola, ABN 97 474 615 608, based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia ("Synkease", "we", "us", "our").

Accepting these terms

By creating an account, joining a group, or using any part of the Synkease service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. By using Synkease, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your account

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• Ensuring the people you invite to your group understand and agree to these terms

You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of other people without their knowledge and consent.

Your content & your responsibility

By using Synkease, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You retain full ownership of and responsibility for all content you submit to the service
• Synkease is a passive tool — it stores and displays what you enter. It does not independently verify, check, or act on any information
• Any appointment details, care notes, or other information shared within your group is shared at your own discretion and risk
• Synkease is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in user-entered content
• Synkease is not responsible for any harm, loss, missed appointment, incorrect care decision, or other consequence arising from content entered into or shared through the service
• You will not enter information that is false, misleading, or harmful, or that infringes the rights of any third party
• You will not use the service for any purpose other than personal care coordination

You grant Synkease a limited licence to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and your group. We do not use your content for any other purpose.

Not medical advice — important disclaimer

We specifically advise that you do not use Synkease to store:

• Medication names, dosages, or schedules
• Clinical diagnoses or diagnostic codes
• Medicare numbers, NDIS numbers, or other government health identifiers
• Any information that would be considered part of a clinical medical record

If you choose to enter such information, you do so entirely at your own risk. Synkease accepts no liability for any consequences of storing, sharing, or acting on such information through our platform.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Synkease and its operator shall not be liable for:

• Any loss, damage, or harm arising from content entered, shared, or acted upon by users of the service
• Any missed appointment, incorrect care decision, or failure of care coordination resulting from use of or reliance on the service
• Any unauthorised access to your account or group data, where such access results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control
• Any interruption, suspension, or termination of the service
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind
• Any loss of data resulting from technical failure, deletion, or expiry

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid to Synkease in the 12 months preceding the claim, or AUD $10, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Synkease to:

• Upload, share, or store any content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, or harmful to any person
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, system, or data
• Interfere with the operation of the service or any other user's access to it
• Use the service for any commercial purpose other than as intended
• Scrape, harvest, or copy data from the service by automated means
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any account that we reasonably believe has violated these terms.

Service availability

We aim to keep Synkease available and operational, but we make no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled or unscheduled maintenance
• Technical issues within our infrastructure or third-party services (including Google Firebase)
• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Synkease is an early-stage product operated by a solo developer. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime and to restore service promptly in the event of disruption.

We strongly advise that you do not rely solely on Synkease for time-critical care decisions. Always maintain an independent record of critical appointment information.

Subscriptions & billing

Synkease currently offers a free plan and a Pro plan (not yet active). The following terms apply when Pro subscriptions become available:

• Subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at time of purchase
• Payment is processed by LemonSqueezy. We do not store payment card details
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel at any time. Access to Pro features continues until the end of the paid billing period
• All subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact hello@synkease.com within 7 days of the charge

The free plan is provided at no cost and may be modified or discontinued with reasonable notice.

Account termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@synkease.com. Upon deletion, your account data will be removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if we believe you have violated these terms, engaged in harmful behaviour, or if required to do so by law.

We may also discontinue the service with reasonable notice. In the event of discontinuation, we will provide users with sufficient time to export their data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes:

• The updated terms will be posted at synkease.com/terms.html with a new effective date
• We will notify registered users via email at least 14 days before material changes take effect
• Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms

If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must stop using the service before the effective date.

Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Synkease will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining terms will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms of Service do not constitute legal advice. Synkease recommends that users and operators seeking specific legal guidance consult a qualified legal professional in their jurisdiction.
